If you are buying real estate in a state other than where the LLC is formed, then that state may require you to be authorized to transact business in state state before purchasing real estate. You can accomplish this by filing a Foreign Qualification in that state. However, in many states, the ownership and purchase of real estate does not constitute the transaction of business.
It’s best to check with the Secretary of state in the state where you are going to purchase the real estate to find out for sure.
