A Professional Corporation (also known as a “P.C.”) is a special type of corporation authorized by each state specifically for the purpose of providing certain professional services including (this varies by state) doctors, lawyers, and in many cases architects, accountants, psychotherapists, medical services and engineers. A P.C. does not shield a specific owner from their personal liability for malpractice or negligence, but does shield other owners from other owners’ malpractice or negligence.
Due to the legal complexities and state-to-state difference in Professional Corporation law, we don’t file all of them ourselves, however, if you fill out the form below, we can research or put you in touch with an approved vendor that specializes in forming Professional Corporations in your State.
Note that a P.C. may not be required in your state in which case we will notify you that we can process your order as a normal Corporation or LLC.
